Last year, the SE3 Committee set out to understand how firms within the SEAONC community are approaching diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) in their internal practices. We connected with several organizations actively engaged in DEIB work and compiled their strategies into a presentation for the broader SEAONC audience.
The presentation began with a brief summary of historical survey findings, followed by examples of current initiatives that foster employee engagement, inclusivity, and education. Combining general themes with specific case studies from four local offices (view the full slide deck below), this effort became the foundation of the SEAONC SE3 DEIB Database.
The database will soon be hosted on this website and updated twice per year with new information, examples, ideas, and supporting materials from firms across the SEAONC community.
