2016 Pay Report

The SE3 Committee conducted a nationwide survey of structural engineering professionals in 2016. This survey received over 2,100 completed responses and garnered a number of findings on topics including career development, work-life balance, and pay, for which a report was released in December 2016. In 2017, the SEAONC SE3 Committee conducted a more in-depth analysis of the 2016 survey data to (1) provide more detailed information on pay based on a variety of factors, (2) discover the overall influences on pay, and (3) investigate the details of the gender pay gap that was reported in the 2016 report. A PDF of the SE3 2016 Pay Report is available here.
